Similar to the Butterfly damper, the Butterfly Cap-Damper offers easy access to the chimney through the removal of a couple of wingnuts (as shown below). Thanks to its versatile design, it can be installed on chimneys with a protruding flue tile (liner) or those without a tile above the crown. Simply affix it in place with the provided silicone adhesive!

Crafted from durable 304 stainless steel and equipped with a spring-loaded mechanism, it's a straightforward and efficient solution for your customers. Installation is a breeze – just apply the silicone adhesive.

Each damper includes 32 feet of stainless steel cable, 3 feet of stainless steel cable guard for offset flues, a 10 oz. tube of silicone, and a firebox bracket pack. All you'll need are the necessary tools.
