RUTLAND Dry Mix 211® Refractory Mortar is a high-temperature dry mortar formulated for joining and repairing firebrick and masonry flue tile in fireplaces and stove chimney systems. Simply mix the dry material with water to create a workable refractory mortar for sealing joints, installing flue tiles, or completing masonry repairs.
Dry Mix 211 can also be applied as a parge coating for fireboxes, creating a smooth, dark gray finish. Rated for temperatures up to 2550°F (1400°C), it is suitable for use with gas and wood fireplaces as well as wood, coal, and pellet stove chimneys.
This 10 lb pail does not require heat curing, although heat curing can increase final strength. It meets NFPA 211 standards and NYSCMA Tek Spec 4.0 and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
