The Empire DS301071BL Black 3-Sided Surround is a required finishing option designed for the Empire Rushmore 30" Direct-Vent Gas Fireplace Insert. Its one-piece construction creates a clean finished border around the insert while providing additional coverage between the appliance and the existing fireplace opening.
Measuring 42 inches wide by 29 inches high with a 1-inch-deep profile, the DS301071BL offers more perimeter coverage than the smaller 36" × 24" and 40" × 27" Rushmore surround options. Its black finish coordinates with the Rushmore insert and the available liner, log-set, and decorative-front choices. Select the surround size based on the dimensions of the existing fireplace opening and the coverage required for the installation.
