The Empire DS30961BL Black 3-Sided Surround is a required finishing option designed for the Empire Rushmore 30" Direct-Vent Gas Fireplace Insert. Its one-piece design provides a finished border around the insert while helping cover the transition between the appliance and the existing fireplace opening.
Measuring 40 inches wide by 27 inches high with a 1-inch-deep profile, the DS30961BL provides greater coverage than the smaller 36" × 24" surround option. Its black finish coordinates with the Rushmore insert and available liner, log-set, and decorative-front choices. Select a surround size that provides adequate coverage for the existing fireplace opening.
