The Empire RVKN/RVKP Variable Flame Remote Kit adds variable flame-height and thermostatic remote control to select Empire appliances equipped with a compatible intermittent pilot ignition system. Choose the kit that matches the appliance fuel type: RVKN for Natural Gas or RVKP for Propane.
Each kit includes a fuel-specific stepper motor, handheld remote transmitter, receiver, wiring harness, and required batteries. The stepper motor replaces the standard manual flame adjustment at the gas valve, allowing flame height to be controlled from the remote.
The remote also provides room thermostat and Smart Thermostat operation. In Smart Thermostat mode, the system automatically modulates flame height as the room temperature approaches the selected temperature setting.
